With the last season of LOST upon us, I figured I might as well spill the beans on the cryptic numbers, just in case anyone missed their significance. In case you have been living under a Dharma-logo-inscribed rock, the numbers are: 4 8 15 16 23 42 and had to be entered every 108 minutes.

And finally, the answer you’ve been looking for…

FACT:
Hot dogs come in packs of 10. Donuts are boxed by the dozen. Add those together and you get 22. Replace one regular sized donut with two powdered donettes (making 23, one of the numbers!) and remove 9 hot dogs. The result is 14 (one less than the third number and when added together (5) and multiplied by the place in the series (3) it becomes 15 which IS the third number!). But that’s not even the most remarkable part. Take away 10 of the regular sized donuts. What you have left is one hot dog, one donut, and two donettes. FOUR items.. The first number in the series! The kicker is, after all is said and done, take a step back and look at what’s left… A single hotdog shaped | , a single donut shaped O , and two small donuts, one atop the other… |  O 8 !!!!!!!! MIND BLOWING!
